Golf – Cognitive activity for dementia

Royal Guernsey Golf Club has initiated golf for people living with dementia. Ex-golfers may rediscover the game, but is open to all who are interested. Putting and driving in the company of Golf Pros. Sessions commence Oct– Dec. Contact GAA on 245121 for details.

Tower to Tower Walk and Run

Introducing runners to this annual event taking a new coastal route for the first time and a record amount of walkers made this a fun day for everyone. Many thanks to all who walked and ran making this a great success and raised money toward our caring services.

Flag Day - Thank you

Thank you to all our amazing volunteers who came out to help us with our Annual Flag Day and raise over £6000. It may only have been an hour of your time, but to us it means absolutely everything. New Appointment

Mrs Julie Thompson took up the post early March to become the Charity’s first ever salaried manager. Such are the demands on the GAA that the hard-working committee of volunteers has realised that they alone cannot deliver consistent high-quality management themselves. Julie’s role will extend beyond the GAA Centre into the community to serve the charity’s mission and principal goals.
